WHERE ARE YOU BASED?
We are based in Norwich, England, a city known for its shoemaking heritage. We have one retail store in Norwich’s city centre, but we trade internationally to our online clients and through our stockist partners.

WHAT SHOE SIZE AM I?
The size of shoe you buy with us at Bowhill & Elliott be a UK size, which might differ from your native shoe size. For European, American and Japanese shoe size conversion, please see our Size Guide.
DO YOU MAKE BESPOKE SLIPPERS?
Technically, bespoke slippers would mean that we would need to measure your individual foot and create a custom last out of wood or resin, which would prescribe to the true meaning of bespoke, but what we can, and do offer for many of our customers is a personalised service with bespoke embroidery, colourways, embellishments and more. Our made to order service takes our existing lasts (you have a choice of two, in terms of foot shape, but that really is just the start. DO YOU SELL WOMENS OR MENS VELVET SLIPPERS?
Instead of referring to our styles as womens or mens velvet slippers, we prefer to describe them based on two different last styles, our P and K. The P last is traditionally favoured by men and the more slender K by women, but not at all exclusively.
WHERE CAN I FIND HOUSE SHOES?
We have a large collection of original house shoes, from Monk, Grecian and Mule style turned slippers but our greatest range is our signature Albert slippers, which can be worn as house shoes or as outdoor shoes.
