With the distinctive 371 last shape, combined with the unique tanning properties of Hurricane Hide, this style will develop a stunning patina with age. Just as relevant today as it was in our glorious past.
Hurricane Hide is an ‘oily pull-up’ leather, it has a tight, compact fibre structure, increasing durability and longevity in wear. Starting life as a chrome-tanned leather, vegetable extracts are then re-tanned into the hide producing a soft and supple feel while upholding its durability. This process is more commonly known as a ‘veg re-tan’, allowing the leather to take on an aged character without compromising its long-term performance.
